Over the weekend the school under the stewardship of the Sports Committee of the Charles Jow Memorial Academy held its annual athletics competition in the school ground for the very first time after many years. The competing houses were: Blue, Green, Red, White and Yellow. The competition was split into two days, Thursday Jan… 16th and Friday 17th 2024.<\/p>\n
On the first day, Houses\/ Kundas competed in both fields and track events with new athletes surfacing from various houses. After a well contested first day, White House was on the lead with 372 points, followed by Green on 371, Yellow on 326, Red with 317 and Blue on 229 points respectively.<\/p>\n
The second and final day of the competition saw a dramatic drop and changes on the scoreboard by the end of the day. The dominant Yellow House was finally out-powered and dethroned. Below is the breakdown of the final results.<\/p>\n
Green House 650 points<\/p>\n
Red House 628 points<\/p>\n
Yellow House 592 points<\/p>\n
White House 571 points<\/p>\n
Blue House 427 points<\/p>\n
Green House was finally crown champions of the 27th Annual Athletics competition of CJMA.<\/p>\n
